Hi, I don’t know if you follow Kathryn (Katie) Morgan on her blog or you tube channel, but she was a soloist with the NYC Ballet until a thyroid problem stopped her in her tracks. She’s getting better, and has partnered with a dance store to offer the first of a $1,000 training scholarship. It may be used for year-round programs, competitions or summer intensives — but must be used for ballet training purposes. Katie just announced this today. The application deadline is 29 October. She also offers great, weekly updates on technique and other issues about all things ballet. She’s a great teacher and her videos have even helped an old dancer like me with my coaching! All the best.
