Are you ready for the latest update on Snow Queen??

After a full day of rehearsals yesterday, we are officially 98% completed with the entire ballet. Knowing that we will be in the theater in less than two weeks is quite nerve wracking, so we are all taking advantage of every rehearsal that we can get (there aren’t many left!)

Most ordinary people don’t realize how many hours of hard work goes into a performance, and they don’t know how much sweat we wear to give them that magical experience. Every step… every breath… every lift… every pair of pointe shoes… Despite of it all, it is an experience that I wouldn’t trade for the world. I enjoy every moment that I have to dance this incredible art form, because it doesn’t last forever. Even though our bodies eventually stop loving ballet, the love in our hearts lasts a lifetime…

      1. It went well! Just really exhausting. 😉Our studio hired a professional dancer to play the Nutcracker and he came in yesterday for the first so it was nice to actually have him there and start the partnering stuff. Yes, definitely!

        1. Oh, that is so awesome!! I always find it so inspirational to dance with guest artists. It is always a ‘treat’ because it doesn’t happen often, but it is a great experience when it does! 🙂
