The Parakeet Post #6

Reggae… Kiwi and Olive were absolutely thrilled when I turned on my Reggae playlist this morning, and they chirped along in complete delight. This has always been their favorite music genre, and they never seem to get tired of summertime vibes.

Before I started to play the songs out loud, I was quite interested to see how they would react to my earbuds…. Unfortunately, Kiwi didn’t want to have anything to do with this little adventure, but Olive thoroughly enjoyed herself! I decided to snap a picture of this brave little bird to share with you all this morning. Happy Saturday!

  1. Oh my goodness, this is such a lovely post. I just played music for my birds last night, but it was a little bit more upbeat and dancey. I’m hoping Mango will start bobbing up and down and showing a little bit of rhythm. I will never tire of Bob Marley though! Awesome song selection.

  2. I just worked (as security supervisor) at Kaya Fest over the weekend so this was perfect timing! It was so nice hearing such amazing music for the two days the festival ran. 🙂
