The Parakeet Post #9

kiwiboyfriend

I think Kiwi found herself a boyfriend… These two have been attracted like magnets for the past few weeks, and I was able to catch these sweethearts on camera during this precious moment.

However, Olive is getting pretty jealous,

and Calypso is just pouting…

*I was glad to host these two beautiful guests on this month’s parakeet post! I hope that you enjoyed this as much as I did. πŸ™‚

      1. Yes, when I was a kid and lived with my mother. My mother had parakeets. πŸ™‚

There is a funny story that my mother still likes to tell everyone. I had one of those Playmobil toy farms with horses and what not. So, one morning I ran into the bed room of my mom and told her that the animals would be free. She then said something like “Fine, continue to play with them” and continued to sleep. She basically thought I would play with my toy farm again. An hour later she came into the living room and realized all parakeets were free. Fortunately no windows were opened, she could catch them all. πŸ˜€ I did scatter the bird sand all over the carpet too because I thought this would be interesting for the birds. I just wanted that the birds have fun. So… you better watch kids πŸ˜€

        We still laugh about this.
