Hi there!

My name is Maysa Rose, and I am the author of the collection of entries that you see here… Writing has always been a really strong passion of mine, and I created this site as a way to document and share my thoughts with others. I hope that my words inspire and encourage readers while reminding them that they are never alone. It is my goal to use writing to help bring out the best in others as much as it has me.

From poetry to personal experiences, Writing Rose features the petals of my thoughts falling into existence one word at a time…

  1. Hi Maysa Rose, it is lovely to read about a determined young girl who is willing to put the work in to reach her goal! I have been there and I know how hard it can be! But I promise hard work and motivation is all you need! I have never had the perfect body or the highest legs but I have always just tried my best to push myself everyday. I see you have a love for it so use that to guide you. I wish you all the luck in the world. Follow my blog about the life of a professional ballerina if you want, and ask any time for advise xx

    1. The best advice that I can give is to truly be able to identify your weakest points, and work to improve them. Also, writing down corrections, making sure that you ask lots of questions when you don’t understand something, hard work and just pure determination will get you where you need to be!
~I hope this answered your question… Please let me know if it didn’t. 😀

  3. Dear Maya, I probably won’t be a regular follower, but I want to let you know that I admire your determination, the foresight that is leading you to the future, your enthusiasm, and grit. Few girls (or boys) know how they would like to spend their adult years and have at age 14 three years of experience behind them. That is truly remarkable. I wish you luck and the blessing of caution. Take care of yourself and don’t be careless.

        1. Well, I FIRST started dancing when I was around the age of 3, but I quit very shortly after. It wasn’t until I was 7 years old that I began dancing again. I guess I could say that I have been dancing for 9 years, but I have been training seriously for the past 4 years. 🙂

          1. That is great! I took ballet gor the first time in my late 30s. I would have kept it up, but it became too expensive which made me sad. I still do some of the bar exercises though. I have heard that it is better for kids to start around seven or so instead of when their bones are still growing. Keep up the good work! You seem like a very creative spirit. 😁

      1. You are most welcome! Over the course of several years, I had four total, but I always had two at a time so they wouldn’t get lonely.

  8. It’s so cool you’re a professional dancer! I love to dance, but I’ve never taken any classes. I also used to have pet parakeets! They all unfortunately passed away, but I love them and all other birds!

    1. Hi, Sapphire! That is so awesome that you had parakeets too. I want to clarify that I am a professional trainee, so I am not getting paid to dance in company yet. I hope to have a full job contract very soon though! Yes, dancing and performing is so fun. Maybe you can try a few trial classes at your nearby studio to see if you like it! 🙂

    1. Oh my gosh, there are so many that I love!! Right now, I am listening to “Life After You” by Daughtry, “Cool Out” by Imagine Dragons”, “Sixteen” by Thomas Rhett, and “Meant to Live” by Switchfoot. I will be releasing a playlist post very soon (probably sometime next week), so be sure to keep an eye out for it to hear a bunch more songs. 🙂
      Thanks for the follow!

An alternative could be to send it through a comment, and I can just hide the comment so that no one else has access to it. Then, I can reply to you through this page with my input? Whatever works for you is good for me, but I understand if you would rather not do it that way. Just let me know, and I will see what I can do. 🙂
