“Tomorrow is the first blank page of a 365 page book. Write a good one.”
2018 is packed with so many great memories that I will never forget, and I feel like the experiences have really helped me grow as an individual. I am so grateful for all of the people who impacted me, both negatively and positively, throughout this past year because I learned a lot from each of them. Aside from personal life, this blog of mine has grown so much, and views have topped 6,000 for the year! I am so incredibly thankful for each and every one of you readers. Your comments/likes mean so much to me, and I greatly appreciate the tremendous amount of support and inspiration that you have continuously given me. I also really enjoyed discovering new blogs and meeting so many talented writers in the past year. I truly cannot thank everyone enough! I hope 2019 brings even more wonderful memories.
Happy New Year to you all!
“And the angel said unto them, Fear not, for behold I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the City of David, a Saviour, which is Christ the LORD.”
Happy Holidays to all of my dear readers!
SURPRISE! After a few attempts, my friends and I finally (somewhat) built a human Christmas tree in the second picture. The peak of the tree is clearly missing, but I am honestly just happy that none of us got hurt.
Hopefully you are able to spend the day with loved ones and reunite with distant friends and family, but no matter how you choose to celebrate, I just wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas!
“A snowflake is one of God’s most fragile creations, but look what they can do when they stick together!”
I have a love/hate relationship with the winter season, but I always end up looking forward to it every year… The snow transforms our ordinary town into an enchanted world where young eyes sparkle with excitement. It brings families together for an adventurous day of snowman building and hot coco drinking by the fireplace. This season is so memorable and amazing. Wishing you all a beautiful first day of winter 2018-19!

Christmas is coming up so quickly, and I can hardly believe that it is only nine days away! In honor of this countdown, I thought it would be fun to share nine things that I love about this time of the year…
- The lights– Christmas lights make me so happy! My family often dedicates a night to view lights around town a few days before Christmas.
- Egg nog (non alcoholic)– I have an obsession with this seasonal beverage.
- Shopping– As stressful as it may be at times, I really enjoy Christmas shopping and finding special gifts to give my friends/family.
- Music– I may sound crazy, but I usually start listening to Christmas music November 1st because I love it so much!
- Cookies– I always look forward to eating that sweet batch of Christmas cookies.
- Family– I really love it when family and friends gather to celebrate.
- Christmas Dinner– Those of you who have been following my blog for awhile probably know that I absolutely love food, and Christmas dinner is the best!
- Wrapping gifts– It is so fun to wrap gifts and place them under the tree.
- Movies– There is no better way to get in the Christmas mood than to snuggle up in a nice, fuzzy blanket and watch holiday movies!
Do you like any of these things too? Did I miss anything?
Thanks for reading, and have a great week! 🙂
I just want to take a second to acknowledge all of my dear readers and followers on this blog of mine. I am so thankful for all of your support, and it means so much to know that my words are being read and appreciated by so many people. Hopefully, you are all able to spend this afternoon celebrating with loved ones, filling your stomachs full of turkey and pie, as well as reflecting on all of your wonderful blessings.
For this post, I have decided to share 10 things that I am thankful for in no particular order:
- The food and clean drinking water on the table
- My faith
- Family and friends
- My heart to love
- My lungs that keep me breathing and alive
- My car
- My memory to remember those great moments in time
Feel free to share what you are thankful for in the comments below.
“October gave a party; The leaves by hundreds came- The Ashes, Oaks, and Maples, And leaves of every name. The sunshine spread a carpet, And every thing was grand; Miss Weather led the dancing; Professor Wind, the band…”
October is inching closer by the day, and the Autumn season has officially begun! I never fail to see the magic of this season, and I love watching the vibrant leaves transform before my eyes. Here is to the apple cider sipping, pumpkin carving, homemade pie season that always brings happy memories…
Enjoy your first day of fall!
Lately, I have been soaking up the last few rays of summer freedom by: relaxing by the poolside, celebrating a birthday party, taking a trip to the movies with friends, and bringing home a new pet (she is will be featured very shortly). Although dance has been keeping me on my toes, Monday marks the very first day of school. This year is going to be a little different, and my education plan has taken a major U-turn…
After 4 years of homeschooling, I am returning to school. I am so humbled to say that I have been admitted into a dual enrollment program at the college. This means that I should be able to graduate high school with my associates/2 year degree. It will definitely be an adjustment, and I am not sure what to expect. However, I am up for the challenge, and I am looking forward to beginning my first semester at the campus.
Have YOU started school yet? Have YOU done anything fun lately?
Thanks for reading!
