I decided to compile a list of all of the things that I have been loving throughout the past few weeks…

  1. White Converse shoes: I am so happy to finally own a pair because they go with everything and are super cute!
  2. Elephant hoop earrings: I can’t remember going a day without these.
  3. Journal: I have written quite a few entries lately.
  4. Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick: I am obsessed with this! I use the “Truffle” shade with eye-shadow, eyeliner, and mascara. The ending result looks so professional, and it really gives off a magnifying glow that lasts for the entire day. I love it so much!
  5. Yellow Shirts: I have had a thing for yellow shirts, and I don’t really know why.
  6. This music video: (half alive by still feel.) I meant to share this awhile ago, but I never got around to do so. You should definitely check this out if you haven’t already.

What have you been loving? Do you like any of these things? What did you think about the music video/song? Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoyed this post!

1.What’s your favorite dessert?

This is a ridiculously hard question for me because I will eat literally any dessert that you offer, but Holy-Cow Cake is definitely one of my top favorites.

2. What’s your favorite meal (breakfast, lunch, or dinner)?

Dinner because my mom is such an amazing cook, and I really love her home-made chicken and dumpling soup.

3. What’s your favorite brand of clothes?

LuLaRoe. I wear their printed leggings pretty much everyday because I am really able to share my personality with this brand, and I love the sophisticated patterns.

4. What’s your favorite time of the day to check on your blog?

Honestly, I check my blog whenever I can, so it just depends on the day.

5. What’s your favorite salty snack?

Kettle Corn! (It’s still in the salty category, right?)

6. What’s your favorite sport to watch?

I really like going to watch the football games, but I have always loved the excitement and speed of hockey. I have to admit that I do not watch many sports though.

South Dakota

*An ocean of lush, green grassland extended farther than eyes could possibly see. The hills were rolling waves, and the grasses rippled as they swayed in the wind.

*Rock mountains towered above us as we gazed up in awe. I couldn’t help but wonder if my imagination was getting the best of me.

*Fertile farmlands blossomed with corn and wheat for miles as the endless land surrounded us from left to right…

Scenery ranged significantly in the breathtaking state of South Dakota. Experiencing Mount Rushmore outside of a history textbook is something that I will never forget. It is a massive monument that is absolutely flawless! The balance of each detail is unbelievable, and I am still astounded that the creation of the masterpiece was even possible! On that note, we also visited the Crazy Horse monument. While we were there, we went into a Native American museum and viewed the historic jewelry, dolls, chief headdresses, clothing, and pottery of the Indians that use to call the area their homeland. Not too long after, we visited a retired gold mine and learned about how the miners use to search for the precious material! It was very interesting, and I learned lots of neat facts. Our busy day ended with a walk through Rapid City and the mouth watering taste of homemade truffles from a chocolate shop. What an amazing journey through South Dakota!
