Road TWO Thanksgiving

I can’t believe that Thanksgiving is just TWO days away!

I am so thankful to spend all of this free time with my family and visit my grandparents for the week. It is so nice to step away from the everyday craziness and finally get rid of the sleep deprivation that had been haunting me for months. After three hours on the road, Thanksgiving is only TWO days away…

Long Weekend

As much as I love dancing the amount that I do, it always feels great to take a few days off to let my body recover… It feels so good to sleep in, knowing that I have the whole day to sit around and do absolutely nothing. I love uneventful days when they come around, because those kinds of days happen only a few times throughout the year. I am going to head out of state tonight with my family to take advantage of this long Labor Day weekend. We are heading up into the mountains, so I will be SURE to snap a few pictures for all of my photography lovers out there. 😉 As of right now, I need to start packing…

My Happy Place

Unfortunately, I am headed to the dentist this morning to get FOUR teeth extracted so that I can receive braces in a week… It is never fun to get a tooth extracted, but it’s worse if you are getting four pulled in one day! I just have to keep my eye on the prize and think about how much better my teeth are going to look once this whole process is over.

I thank God for the food on my table, the roof over my head this rainy day, the supportive followers on this blog, my health, the beautiful flowers blooming in the garden, my family and friends who continue to encourage me to achieve my  dreams, the gift of faith, happiness, the men and women who give their lives for my freedom, and the ability to learn and receive an education.

I think that it is important to stop for a second to think about all of the blessings that the Lord has given you. If you are anything like me, your days always consist of tight schedules. As a result, you may find yourself going multiple days without praying or thinking about your faith at all! It is a very hard thing to confess, but I really wanted to bring this to your attention. No matter how busy you are and no matter how tight your schedule gets, never put your faith aside… God has blessed you with so much, so don’t ignore Him… He is always there waiting to hear from you…

This is just something to think about as we begin a new week…
