From my window, I sit frozen in time as the bitter wind cuts across the night sky. My gaze shifts to the lonely pieces of paper as I contemplate the words running deep within my mind. Hidden corners of these cold thoughts contain unwanted memories of what use to be. My pen remains untouched as I am not sure where to begin writing the story that left me lost in my own imagination. The confusion still rings as I wonder what could have been. The sting of another winter day sends shivers down my spine as I sit frozen in time sipping warm tea from my window…
I know this one was deep. I wrote this a few nights ago, but I am actually quite pleased with how it turned out. What are your thoughts? Did this connect to you in some way?
On a lighter note, I am thrilled to see so many votes coming in for my blog post poll! As I am writing this, Backstage Secrets is in the lead, but it is very closely followed by My Blogging Experience. If you haven’t voted yet, be sure to head over here and drop your top choice(s) in the comments section. Remember, this poll closes February 1st! 🙂 Thanks for reading and have a great week!

I am so incredibly thankful to have you in my life. You mean more to me than I could ever put into words, and you have a very special place in my heart. I love you so much…
I know that it is a bit late, but I still wanted to wish all of those mothers out there (especially mine) a HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!
“Sometimes you don’t know what steps to take.
Sometimes you are not sure what choices to make,
because the decisions that you choose now can effect your future ways.
This contemplation can put you in a daze
as you stare into this maze
For some reason, I felt the desire to rhyme today…
“A woman came from man’s rib.
Not from his feet to be walked on.
Nor from his head to be superior.
But from his side to be equal,
under his arm to be protected,
and close to his heart to be loved…”

This photo was taken by me, but the original post/quote can be found above! I hope that you all have a lovely Valentines Day & Ash Wednesday and are able to spend time with that special someone. 🙂
I am getting through a few exams this week for school… I have to say, it was nice to have some help! Thanks, Kiwi, for making this morning a more pleasurable experience. It is never fun to take a test, but spending time with YOU is the best. 🙂
Happy Tuesday from many feathers of fun!
What if… What if…
I am constantly asking myself what if…
WHAT IF, I stop asking what if?
I would stop drowning in worry, thoughts of uncertainty, and I would have the confidence to follow my heart. What if…
The feeling you get when everyone is watching you is unbelievable…
The feeling you get when you guide the audience through your adventure on an icy tale is indescribable.
The feeling you get when you take a bow as the principle dancer is absolutely incredible,
but the feeling you get when that curtain goes down for the very last time is beyond words.
I don’t even have words that come close to expressing how awesome it felt to dance Gerda. Ever since I was a little girl, it was my dream to land a leading role in a ballet, but I never thought that this dream would come true when it did. Through it all, my friends are the real reason that I was able to pull off a great weekend. From the second the cast list came out to my final bow, they were all there cheering me on… They gave me the strength and confidence that I never thought I had. This experience was better than I had ever imagined, and I will never forget Snow Queen 2017.
