I hope you all had a lovely Valentines Day, 2019!
The road to reach a dream, and everything in between

I hope you all had a lovely Valentines Day, 2019!
I see the elaborate tutus hung on the racks and admire the glittering tiaras set in careful stacks. The props in the basket are so very sweet. This show will definitely be a treat!
It is hard to believe that opening night for “The Nutcracker” is exactly one week from today, but I am looking forward to performing in the very first show of the 2018-19 season. I am so humbled to have been cast as the snow queen because it is one of my favorite roles in the entire ballet. As much as I love it, the snow pas de deux is has been very challenging physically and mentally as I try to get as close to perfection as possible. I want to leave the audience in awe this holiday season and perform to the best of my ability. I have one more week. Wish me luck!
Memories flood back from Homecoming 2017 when the five of us made our grand entrance to the school in a minivan with string lights and loud music. We danced until we lost our shoes, laughed until our stomachs hurt, consumed more sweets than we should have, and fell in love with the NYC themed courtyard…
After the dance ended, we were escorted back to my friend’s house where we all enjoyed a bonfire and stayed up until 5:00 AM. That night was definitely one to remember, and memories continue to race through my mind as this year’s annual event comes to an official close. I watch as decorations are taken down from the high school, and I flashback to last year… Homecoming 2017
I think Kiwi found herself a boyfriend… These two have been attracted like magnets for the past few weeks, and I was able to catch these sweethearts on camera during this precious moment.
However, Olive is getting pretty jealous,
and Calypso is just pouting…
*I was glad to host these two beautiful guests on this month’s parakeet post! I hope that you enjoyed this as much as I did. 🙂

Mom.
I am so incredibly thankful to have you in my life. You mean more to me than I could ever put into words, and you have a very special place in my heart. I love you so much…
I know that it is a bit late, but I still wanted to wish all of those mothers out there (especially mine) a HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!

As I savor these last few hours left of Spring Break, I recall:
how much chocolate that I have consumed in such a small time frame…
the 30 hours I spent in a Drivers Education classroom…
camping with my family over the weekend on the waterside…
and remembering how fast it has gone…
What a week!
